Vadodara: Court session on Wednesday sentenced eight people to kill a man in the city in 2013.
The court has also ordered compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim’s father of the defendant.
In November 2013, Latesh Jadhav experienced a fight with one of the accusations of trivial problems.
Even though the problem was resolved, Latesh was burning again with one of the defendants on November 30, 2013.
Snowballed soon became a fight and the defendant was identified as Satish Padhyar, Kiran Khadkar, Rajan Thakor, Feroze Ghanchi, Vijay Rana, Piyush Rohit, Hiren Makwana and Prakash Dodiya attacked Latesh near Ambika Nagar in Gotri.
Padhyry brutally stabbed Latesh, who was in his 20s, with a knife while the other was too attacked with a stick.
The victim suffered a severe injury and was rushed to a private hospital for treatment by several passes.
He was declared dead within two hours after the police put forward a murder case against the defendant at the Gotri police station.
The police immediately accused all the defendants involved in the murder.
About 42 witnesses continued in front of the court from the complainant during the trial along with material evidence.
The court observed that even though the defendant did not have a crime registered against them in the past, violations of murders had a life sentence as a punishment.
The court has also announced a six-month sentence and a fine of 500 fines for assembly that violate the law.
Also, the defendant had been convicted of riots and sentenced to two years in prison.
All sentences will run parallel and the victim’s father will also get compensation from the government.
