Vadodara: Eight new Covid-19 cases detected in the city and district on Friday.
New cases detected from 1,442 tests carried out in 24 hours ended on Friday night.
With new cases, the total number of Covid-19 cases detected in the city and the district is now standing at 71,846.
Of the 71,188 of these patients had been sent back including nine on Friday while 623 had died from the beginning of the pandemic.
After nine people were dismissed on Friday, 35 cases of Covid-19 actively remain in the city and district.
These include three on ventilator or bipap machines and six of oxygen support.
