Eight nominations received for the constituency of DK-Udupi

Mangaluru: Former KPCC Vice President Manjunath Bhandari submitted a nomination for the election of the Legislative Council from the election of local authority Dakshina Kannada-Udupi on Tuesday.
With this, the number of candidates increased to eight on Tuesday, the last day according to the notice of the election commission.
Bhandari, who is also the Chair of the Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, said that he was sure of his victory.
“I have served a party for about four decades.
I have been involved in arranging parties throughout the state.
I have not managed to fight the former Minister of BS Yeddiyurappa in Syivamogga Lok Sabha Constitution in 2014.
Prathap Chandra Shetty of the Congress is one Of the two MLCs representing the local constituency of Dakshina Kannada-Udupi.
Because Shetty decided not to fight for the election, the party had chosen me as a candidate.
This party has entrusted me with the main responsibility, by offering tickets to fight for elections, “he added.
The social class and class of the Ministry of Welfare Shrinivas Poojari from BJP, and Suprith Kumar Poojary, Independent, has submitted a nomination paper.
Meanwhile, Ismail Shafi K from SDPI, Nithin Kumar from BJP, Independent Candidate Shashidhar M, Naveen Kumar Rai and Koushik D Shetty also submitted their papers on the last day.
The election will be held for two chairs of local constituencies Dakshina Kannada-Udupi, as the term MLC Cuplum Shrinivas Poojari and K Pratra Chandra Shetty ends in 5.
Candidates can attract papers on November 26, and the election will be held in between.
8 am and 4pm on December 10.
The sound will be calculated on December 14.
