New Delhi: Bikram Singh Majithia Bikram leader, ordered under the drug narcotics law and psychotropic substance (NDPS) last month, will be the candidate for Shiroman Akali Dal from Amritsar East against the head of the Navjot Singh Sidhu Congress.
“Majithia will destroy Sidhu pride and ensure that he loses his guarantee,” said Suhbir Singh Singh Sukhbir Suhbir Sukhbir said on Wednesday announcing a contest with a high profile.
Majithia was Sukhbir Singh’s brother-in-law and his nomination had been announced earlier from the Majitha seat.
He thanked the head of the party for the opportunity to control Sidhu, who was MLA sitting from Amritsar East.
Sidhu previously said that he would not rest until Majithia was arrested.
Sukhbir Singh Badal has announced that he will stop politics if the government Chararjit Singh Channi brings evidence of the Bikram Majithia in a drug case.
Calling this case against Majithia as “False and is very politicized”, Badal warns that everyone who is responsible for involves “innocent people” in the case of “wrong” must face the consequences.
Parkash Singh Badal for the contest from Lambi-difficult, the sad head also announced the nomination of his 94-year-old father and fifth ministerial head of Parkash Singh Badal from the Lambi assembly chair.
With the announcement of candidates for two more seats, Sad has stated candidates on all 97 seats where he will oppose the February 20 assembly poll.
Sad has been tied with BSP for upcoming elections.
According to the setting of the division of seats between the two parties, BSP will infrastructure candidates in 20 assembly seats 117 in Punjab while the rest will be contested by Shiromani Akali Dal.
