New Delhi: India reported a new 2.85 lakh Covid-19 case on Wednesday, the second day in a row in which the infection remained under the 3-lakh sign.
New cases on Wednesday more than 62,000 less than 3.47 lakh reported last week – the highest daily count so far in the third wave run by Omicron ongoing.
Although the third wave showed signs of the initial slowdown, some major countries – especially from the south – still recorded an increase in daily infections.
