New Delhi: CEO Ola Bhavish Aggarwal on Tuesday stated that he did not agree with Tesla and Hyundai who persuaded to lower import duties for electric vehicles in India.
Aggarwal brings to Twitter to apply for his views on import duties.
He said, “Long disagree with both.
Let’s believe in our ability to build originally and also attract the global OEM to be built in India, not only imports.
We will not be the first country to do it!.” His tweet came in response to the Tweet about Hyundai MD S Kim who said that lower import duties on EVS would help grow the EV market in India.
