New Delhi: Rajan, 15, has made an electric bicycle using a memo, which resembles a Royal Enfield miniature.
The 9th Standard Student, studied Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in Subhash Nagar Delhi, told Ani that he only spent Rs 45,000 to make this e-bike from memo.
He said, “It took three months to collect a portion and three days to assemble them into e-bike.” Previously, he also made e-cycle but failed to put a speed control mechanism, because what he met with an accident and injured himself.
Utilizing Covid-19-induced locking, it is used to spend time mechanics and expand its knowledge’s insight.
“At a motorcycle shop near my residence, I used to ask questions about the technical motorbike,” he said.
“My father has worries that I might not be able to do it, but my mother assured her,” Rajan added.
His father, Dashrath Sharma said that Rajan had become a child who wanted to know since childhood and likes to play with electronic items.
“To work on this e-bike, he lied to me and said that he had got the assignment from the school to recycle a bicycle,” the Father said.
Sharma further emphasized that his son was blocked to complete this project.
“He was injured many times while welding but he continued.
I don’t have time to help him with the project because of my work.
He has been alone throughout,” he said.
By asserting that Rajan will succeed in all his future efforts, the Father said, “I am sure he can do many things for the country if the government provides the necessary support.”
