Vadodara: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) who worked with 108 emergency services died in an accident on the road involving ambulances and a truck near Dahod around midnight on Friday.
The accident occurred when the ambulance returned to Dahod from Vadodara ran to a truck parked next to the road near Jekot.
The truck did not have a tail lights or reflector and was not visible in the dark, the police said.
Three people including the driver of the ambulance, Tajikhan Pathan, EMT Dharmendra Baria and Emergency Executive Medical Jamil Sheikh were injured in the incident.
The trio initially rushed to Dahod for treatment, but then Tak Vadodara.
Officials 108 services said that Baria gave up on his wounds on Saturday.
The condition of two other personnel was said to be stable and one of them had also been dismissed from the hospital.
