Ahmedabad: The 28-year-old Prahladnagar resident loses his wallet to a thief who distracts him with a record of Rs 10.
In a complaint submitted with Anandnagar police, he stated that the incident took place on a 100 foot road on Thursday night.
Tanvi Sisodia, a resident of Suyog Bungalows in Corporate Road, said in his code that he stopped at a medical store to buy several drugs.
“I parked my car in front of the SBI branch near the candy shop Kandoi Bhogilal, bought medicines from the Natraj medical store and had just opened my car when a man approached me.
He told me that my money had fallen on the road,” he said to the police.
He turned to see the 10 Rs record lying on the ground.
Thinking he had dropped it, Sisodia took it and returned to his car just to find that his wallet contained several hundred cash rupees, cellphones and debit cards and his credit card had been stolen.
