Rajkot: A student who lives in Junagadh was deceived by Rs 5 Lakh with a promise of work in the post department suspected by two people.
Shyam Trivedi complainant (23), a student of BCOM third year, told the police that he had touched with one of the Deepak alias who was accused of being diliped through a friend in August 2019.
His friend had told that Bhatt would help him get a work contractual in the Post Department.
When Trivedi met Bhatt, he was told that he would help him get a permanent job and not contractual, but he had to issue Rs 5 lakh.
After Trivedi’s father agreed, he paid Bhatt Rs 2.5 Lakh.
The accusation told the complainant to pay the number left as soon as he got the post.
A few months later, Bhatt sent Trivedi the order of his appointment on whatsapp and took Rs 2 Lakh from him.
Then, Bhatt made the accused Abdul Kadir Sheikh spoke with a complainant to convince him that his work was final.
Like Trivedi trusting them, he pays the remaining 50,000 Hospital.
However, the physical copy of the promise of the appointment never arrived.
When Trivedi was investigated itself, he found another victim from Porbandar.
Bhatt has also disabled Dilip Santhara by promising work to his son.
Recently, when Trivedi realized that he had been cheated, he approached the police and filed a complaint on Sunday at Junagadh Division Police Station.
The police said that Trivedi also mentioned the cheating accused of 24 others.
“The accusation has shown an order to promise with 24 other people on the call to the complainant,” said a police officer.
