Norwich (England): Arsenal sailed to a 5-0 victory on the bottom side of Norwich on Sunday, with Bukayo Saka’s Double helping them to secure victory when they consolidate fourth place in the Premier League.
The victory brought Arsenal to 35 points from 19 matches after their fourth consecutive league victory, only more than two years since the first match manager Mikel Arteta was responsible for the Gunners.
The visitors took the lead after six minutes through Saka, who caressed the ball past Angus Gunn’s goal, which made his Premier League debut, following a passing movement that leads to Martin Odegaard to put the ball to the front.
Arsenal continued to test Norwich’s defense with Saka, Human Danger, thank you for the circle flowing into wings and Gabriel Martinelli also filed a threat when the Gunners dominated.
Norwich’s last lively victory was the way back in 1987, and they never won on boxing days in the Premier League, so the signs were unpleasant for Canaries who struggled from the beginning.
However, it took a warehouse until before the first half to score again when Scotland left Kieran Tierney fired a low shot, with Odegaard again giving The Killer Pass.
Norwich lived in the game until the 67th minute but then the water door opened when the visitors hit three times.
England forward Saka got Arsenal’s third goal with another right strike after cleverly weaving the road past Brandon Williams on the right edge of the area.
Alexandre Lacazette was then littered in the box by Ozan Kabak, and the Frenchman rose to change spot kicks in the 84th minute.
Substitute Emile Smith Rowe finished Rout with the aim in additional time, leaving Norwich at 10 points – three adrift of the fourth Watford played more.
