Formula one seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton received his magic for service to Motorsport on Wednesday, days after he lost what would be the eighth title after the last lap at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Hamilton held a record for most of the race victory with 103 while he was tied with Germany Great Michael Schumacher at the Seven Drivers Championship.
The 36-year-old Englishman, the only black driver of the sport, made a bachelor Knight by the price of British Charles during the Investiture ceremony at the Windsor Castle in England.
Hamilton was the fourth F1 driver who would be knight after the deceased Australia Jack Brabham, Stirling Moss and Triple Champion Jackie Stewart, and the only one who had received the award while still competing.
Other active sportsmen who have received the knight are the winners of the Tour de France Cycling Bradley Wiggins, Olympic 5,000 and 10,000 meters of Mo Farah’s gold medal, Two Champion Wimbledon Andy Murray and England Cricketer Alastair.
Hamilton lost to the title 2021 for the Red Bull Max Verstappen Driver on Sunday.
Both of them were at the points before the last race in Abu Dhabi, where Dutchman followed Hamilton in the last lap to lift his first title.
