In 2021 drawing to media close and social media and online platforms ensured they finally gave users something more than usually like a summary story of the year where from the past 12 months, they chose the personalized moment worth to enter such a list.
Google has done this with the photo application and now Facebook has joined the list with “year in review”.
The meta-owned platform has started the launch of features for Facebook and Instagram users, according to the report by TechCrunch.
Facebook users will see the personalized “year” card that they can share.
The card will consist of their main post and moments with friends, places, and the people they share on Facebook in 2021.
This feature will be accessible until 30 December.
On Instagram, there will be a time capsule “playback” at the end of the year that can be shared by users on their stories.
If you have posted more than three floors this year on Instagram or having a story archive turned on, you can adjust and choose up to 10 floors to share with your followers.
This feature will be available for users for several weeks.
Instagram will suggest several stories for the same thing that can help you take the most feasible to be included in the playback time capsule.
If you have not been able to access its features, the possibility of launch has not occurred in your area.
In accordance with meta, it may need 2-3 days for features to reach everyone in a particular area.
More social media platforms such as Reddit and Snapchat are also expected to be able to launch a similar year-end feature for users too.
