Farmers get a plot after a legal battle, find them ready to be auctioned

Gurgaon: After years of legal battle, farmers, whose land was obtained by HSVP (formerly Huda) to develop various gurgaon sectors, allocated a number of certain plots.
But before offering the physical ownership of the plot to farmers, the development authority has registered the same for auction.
The farmers accused HSVP deny the rights of ustees.
Actually, between 1981 and 2000, HSVP acquired hundreds of hectares of around 1,500 Mullaza Farmers, Katarpuri, Gurgaon Village, Dundahera, Chauma, Barai and Dhankot to develop sectors 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 22 and 23 Gurgaon.
Farmers have compensated for their land and guarantees plots in the sector developed on their land.
In the direction of Punjab and Haryana HC, HSVP formed an Oustees policy in 2013 which was changed in 2018, where the ousted Famers could submit a plot to be allocated through a draw by market prices.
In September 2018, of the 294 applications submitted with HSVP Estate Office-1, around 38 found to be eligible.
622 Other applications submitted with the Office-2 Estate, around 116 were found to be eligible.
Furthermore, HSVP ordered 370 plots under the Estate-1 office and 38 farmers were given a plot through many lotteries.
Of the 370 plots ordered, HSVP had auctioned 66 plots.
And now it has been registered for auctioned plots – figures 208, 209, 1030 and 1032 in sector 9A, numbers 1089, 1090, 1091 and 1092 in sector 22, and 1261 and 1262 in sectors 23 – which have been allocated for ouses.
“This is with a serious violation of HSVP policies and guidelines.
This opposes the assessment of the High Court,” said Oomprakash (78), allocated 1092 plot numbers in sector 22.
This plot is now ready to be auctioned.
Sime Singh Yadav (60), allocated plot number 1091 in sector 22, demanded the direct cancellation of the plot e-auction provided under the oustes quota.
“We have combed legal battles for years but even though our recurring court orders benefit us, we have not been able to get a plot,” he said.
When contacted, a senior HSVP official said, “We have formed a policy for plot allotment to Oustes and a number of plots have been reserved under this category.
The plot allocated to 38 ousts is under supervision.”
