Aperar: A group of people who protested farmers hold BJP MLA from Hisar, hostages Kamal Gupta at home breaks here on Monday.
MLA accused him of being managed by the protesters but did not file a complaint of the police.
Gupta has reached a resort for a meeting with party workers to discuss strategies for Ellenabad’s comparison.
However, when he reached a vacation home, he was told by other home employees that the main hall had been ordered by farmers for meeting.
When he saw MLA, a group of Gherrao farmers in the lobby and did not let him go.
The drama continued for about half an hour, before the police reached the place to save MLA.
Interacting with MediaTpersons at his home later, Mla said he did not realize the farmers’ meeting in the venue and alleged that he was managed and someone even tore his clothes while trying to push him to the home hall.
He said the behavior was inappropriate for farmers but he would not file a complaint of the police.
Ranbir Singh, a farmer leader on the other hand alleged that MLA deliberately reached a vacation while they held a meeting.
“I suspect the conspiracy to provoke farmers,” he said.
Farmers cause slogans in protests but no one managed MLA, he said.
Hisar Dig Balwan Singh Rana went to meet BJP MLA at his residence.
A police spokesman said that so far the police have not received complaints.
