New Delhi: The farmer union who protested on Tuesday said they were “worried” about the response center against their six demands delayed and will hold a meeting on December 8 to decide the future of agitation.
Earlier on Tuesday, Samyukta Kisan Morcha, the body of the peasant union umbrella, held a meeting to discuss the central response and said that some of the pending problems remained.
“We have sent several suggestions and objections to the government’s proposal on our delayed demands,” SKM said after the meeting.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, leader Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Rakesh Tikait said that while the center had agreed to meet the demands of farmers, the contour of the proposal was unclear.
