Helsinki: The capital of Finland Helsinki will start giving a Covid-19 vaccine to children aged 12 to 15 years at risk of contracting the severe Koronavirus infection, the city said on Wednesday.
Organ transplants, cancer, immunological disorders and Down syndrome are considered one of the risk factors, according to the Finnish health institute.
According to data collected by the European Center for prevention and disease control, 71.6% of 5.5 million Finland has now received one vaccination dose and 22% dose.
The Nordic nation has recorded 95,742 infections and 973 deaths from Covid-19.
