Pune: Two men, both criminals on police records, fired four rounds in Yogesh Jagtap (36), a resident of Sangvi, at 10:30 a.m.
on Saturday on Katepuram Chowk who was busy at the Pimple Gura.
Jagtap, also a criminal in the police record, died under medical attention in a hospital in Pimpri.
After firing a shot from close range in Jagtap, the two attackers then grabbed a motorcycle of a pedestrian and escaped from the scene.
They went to Bhosari, said Pimpri Chinchwad police.
All shooting incidents were arrested on CCTV cameras.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zona II) Anand Bhouti told TII, “We have set the identity of the two attackers after recording eyewitness statements.
We also have CCTV snippets from the place, which shows two men who provide a pursuit of jagtap.
There are seven violations of the body registered Against Jagtap.
He also worked as a real estate agent in Pimpri Chinchwad.

They fired four rounds and two bullets hit Jagtap.

The two men then went to the main road and saw a motorcycle rider who passed.
