Nagpur: New Private Agency (NU) Nagpur (NU) MKCL has left hundreds of students first year in trouble by making them fill out the registration form itself.
Many parents and students and college officials are panicked because NU has set a December 8 deadline to complete the registration process, which remains delayed due to technical disorders.
The registration number is a unique student ID, without exam formalities cannot be resolved.
Recently, NU had brought back private agents for exam work in the middle of a rigid opposition from a few quarters.
Previous private bodies, Promarc, have maintained student data during new reception in different formats.
Several universities complained to TOI that the exam was reluctant to pay attention to their advice on the technical issues faced by students.
One of the main problems is that students need to upload pictures of their education documents, with each file size up to 1MB.
Previously, the image up to 2MB could be uploaded.
Students and colleges cannot see the documents uploaded earlier while they cannot upload new ones.
Also, colleges say there is no choice to remind students if the shape is rejected by them.
Chancellor Deputy Chaudhari and Director of Examination and Evaluation Praefulla Sabale did not respond to TOI calls and messages.
Until Tuesday night, there was no clarity if the deadline would be extended.
RG Tale, Secretary of the Principal Forum, said the University must extend deadlines due to a lot of delayed work.
“The limited time frame is the biggest mistake.
The university issued a letter on December 4, asking for college that conversion of registration data from Promarc to MKCL needs to be completed on December 8.
But the university has made universities from it.
There is no guarantee that students may have received the link sent to their registered cellphone numbers.
Students continue to change their number, many internet problems, many others do not have a smartphone.
These things are not considered while making sudden decisions, said the story.
Team added that the new format was launched without training and reserves right.
“Even those who can see the link and enter the portal cannot see the document,” he said.
A college official said they had more than 1,000 students facing similar problems.
“Most of them make the wrong entries, in addition to educational certificates not visible.
In such cases, colleges reject the application.
But students will not be on standby, “said the official.
Tale said the whole process must be carried out by college and not students.
