Five arrested in RS 1.69 lakh robbery case in Thane

Thane: Thane police caught a group of robbers who entered the two shops and restored stolen goods worth Rs 1.69 lakh.
The gang included four robbers and their male hands.
The arrest arrested was identified as Rukmani Vitthal Kucble (35) and Suman Premesi Kucchi (50), Sheetal Akash Kucchi (24), Nandini Manoj Gaikwad (32) and Akash Premji Kucchi (27).
The restored items include 23 water motors, drawer channels 100 tables, one packet of aluminum parts and one drill stood collectively worth Rs 1.69 lakh.
In the first case, robbers cannot be traced where they rob 23 motorbikes.
They ran out of luck in their second robbery after they robbed aluminum articles, said Sanjay Dhumal, Senior Inspector of the Naupada Police Station.
The police said that two teams were formed to track people accused and they brought CCTV recording assistance and intelligence input to track robbers.
First, the police arrested the car driver and then they arrested four women involved in theft.
All are Kalwa residents, police said.
We are investigating their involvement in other similar crimes, police said.
