Five is held to defeat automatic drivers

Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Police have arrested five people on charges of attacking the Autorickshaw driver at Adyaru on the edge of Mangaloru on December 10.
The people who were arrested were Ganesh, 24, Chethan Kumar, 21, Suitith, 20, 20, and Parecphith, 21.
All those arrested came from Bondanthila Village in Mangaluru Taluk.
Seven to eight people have Mohammed Riyaz, 40, when he was driving and attacked him with cricket bats, iron rods and beer bottles.
Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar said that five who were arrested knew victims.
They have clashes between them in the past too.
Based on the complaint submitted by Abdul Rehman, Riyaz’s younger brother, a case under various parts of the IPC registered at the Rural Mangaluru Police Station.
The police have recovered a pair of female footwear from Riyaz’s car after he was attacked.
Riyaz has a case that enrolled against it at five different police stations, including three under the Moral Trading Prevention Law, Commissioner said.
Allegedly that Riyaz was used to bring sex workers from Mandya, Hassan and other districts.
“Detailed investigations are being carried out,” Commissioner said.

“We have tracked two authentic Facebook accounts.
We will immediately hold them for further investigation.
Meanwhile, some have used a fake Facebook account to post a message of insulting,” Kumar said.
