Mangaluru / Udupi: In the background of controversy related to the dress code in educational institutions, police in Dakshina Kannada and the Udupi district held a flag parade in various places on Friday.
Police in Udupi held a Flag facar on the minds of people in the district, where the hijab line led to the legal situation and the order of the Police Undupi N Vishnuvardhan, who participated in the March flag, said the police had raised their vigiles, because the district had witnessed the protest over a row of hijabs .
He also promised to take hard action against those who took the law into their hands in educational institutions.
More than 238 police personnel, and around 50 police officers, including SP and DSP Siddalingappa, participated in the route.
The police said that the Force Action Rapid (RAF) will also be deployed in Udupi, to maintain vigil on developments.
Meanwhile, Police Dakshina Kannada held a flag parade in Puttur, and Mangaluru City Police held it in Surathkal.
