Nagpur: The Republic Day Float of Maharashtra dedicated to the state biodiversity, Flora and Fauna have won a popular choice for tables in online voting format.
The buoy was made in Vidarbha by artists from Nagpur and Yavatmal.
Recognition of their hard work has made them happy.
“Credit goes to our entire team consisting of 30 trained artists.
Most of us are the former Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya students from Nagpur.
Even though we settled in Nagpur, Pune and Yavatmal as professionals, we will be together to Republic Day Tableau from the last two years, “Rahul Dhansare, who is one of Shubh’s advertising director, the agency that has made Tableau from the last two years.
Nagesh Charde Nagesh, who played a major role, said, “Mehnat Rang Layi (our hard work has paid off).
This year, the theme is challenging.
Making less known animal statues such as Shekru is a real challenge.
I thank the director of cultural affairs Bhibhishan Chawre for his constant support, “Charde said.
Tushar Pradhan and Roshan Ingole, both of Vidarbha, are the main statues for float.
Interestingly, parts of people on social media have criticized float after the Republican Day Parade for the presentation of a bad peacock.
The artists said it was not part of their previous tableau.
It was the last decision by officials based in Delhi and therefore they did not have time to design a beautiful peacock.
“We received an extraordinary response from the people who visited the float on and after January 26.
People from other states also made the point to take pictures with our tableau,” Dhansare said.
This is why Tablo received 23% of the total votes surveyed by people throughout the country.
