Berlin: Dozens of German rescue teams are looking for Monday for a number of unknown people who think they are thrown into the river in the Bavarian Hell Valley when the flood suddenly knocked down their bridges, DPA News DPA reported.
Police said the rescue operation with around 100 officers was ongoing and at least four people had been pulled out of the water in the valley known as Hollententerklamblam near the highest mountain of Germany, Zugspitze.
“Someone must assume that more people are still missing, ” Stefan spokesman Sonntag from Bavarian Police Headquarters told DPA.
He said the witnesses told them that some people were carried away by the flood when the bridge suddenly fell.

Heavy Rain in the Hollenterklamlam Region, or Hell Valley, is a popular destination for pedestrians from all over the country and abroad.
Last month, more than 200 people were killed in a deadly flood in West Germany.
