Rajkot: Savarkundla District Amreli District, which has become a sign of communal amity and peace in the state, once again see two united communities to celebrate religious events on Tuesday.
On the occasion of the Eid E Milad, the birthday of the Prophet, the people led by Sufi Priest Sarkar Saiyad Mummad Kadri contributed around 6,000 kg of fodder to 10 beef (Gaushalas) warehouses carried out by Hindu organizations.
Kadri also donates food to those who are underprivileged at 10 kitchen charities that organize food for poor people every day.
About 250 people benefited from the charity of the Kadri at a special event.
Food is also distributed to patients in private hospitals and governments, in addition to fodder to many other animal pens.
