Vadodara: The Forestry Department has intensified the patrol and tracking leopards that attacked a 60-year-old woman living in Chhaparwad Village from Singvad Taluka at Dahod District on Wednesday.
The incident occurred when the old woman slept outside her home early on Wednesday morning.
Bhurki Bhabhor women are residents of Ranipura Village, but came to Chhaparwad to spend time with his relatives.
Leopard bit him in his right elbow and his hands.
He was originally taken to a referral hospital for treatment.
Because his wounds were deep, he was referred to the Civil Hospital Godhra.
Forestry department officials were also informed by villagers and rushed to the area to track leopards.
The patrol is also increasingly intensive if the leopard is still in the area.
No attacks reported around before or after the incident.
