Chandigarh: For the expansion of health services in Haryana, all formalities related to the construction of the Medical Institute Project (AIIMS) project proposed in Majra Village in Rewari Regency have been completed.
A meeting was held under the leadership of the ministerial chief, Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday before the State Union Minister at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Rao Inderdit Singh.
The meeting was also attended by senior officers and farmer delegates who had provided land for the project.
While giving separate budget sanctions for the project, Khattar directed the income and disaster management department officers to begin the payment distribution process to farmers who had provided land for the earliest project.
He also asked farmers to begin the next process needed to do other work related to the project after guaranteeing the mutual agreement between them.
Directions have also been issued to city and state planning officers and the Ministry of Development and Panchayats to complete all the work needed and also to accelerate work on problems related to farmers in the period of time specified regarding the project.
During the meeting, the farmer’s delegation said that the state had given the principle approval of their main demand regarding giving Rs 40 lakh per hectare of land given to the government and the development of a commercial complex along with AIIMS.
