Palanpur: Former Prince Danta in Banskantha District, Madhusudan Singh Parmar, was cremated with a full award on Monday in front of a member of the royal family.
The 88-year-old child died of the old age at his home in Danta.
All markets and stores remain closed in the city in honor of the late prince.
Born on May 31, 1933, Parmar was the second son of the end of Maharana Saheb Sri Bhawani Sinhji.
After graduating in the history and law of Maharaja Mejirao University (MSU), Parmar made his political debut in 1962 with a victory in the Gram Pancayat election.
Parmar was found hunting, said source.
According to sources, Parmar was cremated with Royal Honors in Koteshwar near Ambaji.
Before cremation, a Yatra Palkhi, mortal remains were taken out of Danta to Dantadi and then to Koteshwar.
