Orange, California: Bill Clinton is fine and will be released from the South California Hospital where he was treated for infection, said President Joe Biden.
Biden said Friday during comments at Connecticut University that he had spoken with Clinton and former president “sending the best.” “He’s fine; he really,” Biden said.
“He is not serious,” Biden said.
“He came out soon, as I understood.
Is that tomorrow or the next day, I don’t know.” Clinton, 75, was accepted at the University of California Irvine Center, southeast of Los Angeles, on Tuesday with infections not related to Covid-19 , said his spokesman.
Aide to the former president said Clinton had a urological infection that spread to his bloodstream, but he was in improvement and had never experienced septic shock, the potential condition of life-threatening.
Clinton’s spokesman Angel Ureña said Friday that Clinton would remain in the hospital to receive further intravenous antibiotics.
“All health indicators trends in the right direction, including significantly reduced white blood,” Ureña said in a statement.
“President Clinton continues to be in excellent spirits, and is very grateful for the extraordinary care he received and hopes that people have sent from all America and throughout the world,” said the statement.
Aude, who spoke to journalists at the hospital in the condition of his name was not used, said Clinton was in the hospital intensive care section but did not receive ICU treatment.
Clinton reads books and watch TV coverage about hospitalization, said Aide.
Hillary Clinton with him at the hospital, even though his daughter, Chelsea Clinton.
In the years since Clinton left the White House in 2001, the former president had faced health fears.
In 2004, he underwent a quadruple bypass surgery after experiencing prolonged chest pain and shortness of breath.
He returned to the hospital for surgery for the lung who fainted in 2005, and in 2010 he had a pair of stents implanted in the coronary artery.
He responded by hugging most of the vegan diet which saw it losing weight and reported health improvement.
Clinton repeatedly returned to the stump, campaigning for democratic candidates, mostly, especially his wife, Hillary, during his failed 2008 offer for the president’s nomination.
And in 2016, when Hillary Clinton looked for the White House as a Democratic nomination, Bill Clinton – at that time a grandfather and approached 70 – returned to the campaign trail.
