Vadodara: The city and district register four deaths again because of Covid-19 on Friday.
This is the largest number of deaths in a day in the third wave of pandemic.
The third wave of Covid-19 in the city has seen 17 deaths so far took the total number to 640.
The first death in the third wave was on January 15.
Prior to this, the last death because Covid-19 was reported in June 18 during the second wave of Covid-19.
Death entered in official data is not included because of Covid-19 as the main cause of death.
It does not include the death of positive people covid-19 because of comorbidity or other diseases.
The source said that some of the deaths of parents or those who had comorbid conditions had occurred.
An official said that death was being announced as and when the audit mortality report was submitted to Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC).
The number of serious patients on the ventilator or bipap engine also increases consistently.
