Four Maul Bear in Chichpalli Forest

Chandrapur: Four Shepherds were injured in two separate incidents from bear attacks in the chichpalli territorial range that side by side and the Chichpalli FDCM range on Saturday.
Forest officials have concluded that the same bear was involved in the attack as an area where the attack occurred in the neighboring compartment of two ranges.
Official sources say that Shepherds Pendor and Sitaram Madavi Vilas, both of them from the village of Satara Tukum, have taken their flocks to the number 436 compartment from the Chichpalli Territorial Forest range in the morning.
A bear’s sloth was present in the area attacking the two shepherds, hurt them seriously.
They somehow managed to scare enough to save their lives.
The same bear then targets a pair of other shepherds, namely Pressurl Sidam and Rupesh Kulmethe, in the number 435 compartment from the Chichpalli FDCM range after a few hours.
The two shepherd was seriously injured in the attack.
The two ranges rushed to the place and took the shepherd who was injured to the Chandrapur Civil Hospital for treatment.
Officials claimed that they were both injured critically and struggled for their lives.
The Ministry of Forestry has sounded a warning in the area after the incident and has warned people who opposed to go to the forest where the user’s bearer was present.
The department has also increased patrol in the area and installed a camera trap to identify bear problems.
The source said that another shepherd was injured in a bear attack about 12 days ago in the same area.
