Four MoneyLenders ordered for extortion

Rajkot: Four loan sharks were captured by Rajkot City Police on Friday for extortion and collecting very high interest rates with loan money.
According to the police, Hardik Parmar (36), a resident of Moti Tank Chowk in Rajkot, filed a complaint against Sehnaz Dalvani, Irbaz Khokhar, Afrid Khokhar and Imrani Dalvani, all Rajkot residents, under various parts of the Indian criminal code including 386 (extortion by placing someone In fear of death or sad sadness) and also part of Gujarat Lenders.
“In May 2016, Parmar borrowed Rs 5 Lakh at an interest rate of 20% of four people to buy a car.
Since then Parmar pays back Rs 18 lakh for the lenders of this money but they are still demanding Rs 3 lakh more than him,” Police said.
“Meanwhile, Parmar borrowed more RS 2 lakh than Irbaz and one lakh from the air he paid for Rs 3,000 every day as an installment.
Then, he borrowed Rs 3 lakh from Imran he must pay Hospital 3,000 daily installments,” Police added.
Over the past few days, Parmar could not pay the money because he was accused of ‘winning’ his bicycle.
Money lenders also began to threaten Parmar, police said.
