Rajkot: Rustic Police Rajkot arrested four more people, two of them livestock farmers, in connection with a strong explosion at the food in the upleta of Rajkot City last week which killed the duo of men in their processing unit and shook the whole place.
The police said that livestock farmers found a rocket launcher which was purified near the buttocks of a defense troops in Devbhumi Dwarka district and then sold it for a collector’s memo.
Areas near the shooting range are under the forbidden category, police said.
On Monday, the police had caught Tofiq Dosani a resident of Upnela and Mohan Koli, a resident of Bhatiya in Devbhumi Dwarka district because he sold a rocket launcher to one of the explosion victims, Rajak Kana.
During the interrogation, the defendant revealed that they had bought shells from memo collectors, Mahesh and Rathod.
After being arrested, Mahesh and Kind admitted that they got clams from Manu Ker and Teja Gadhvi, livestock breeders who traveled to regions that were prohibited and did not tell the authorities about shellfish, thinking that they would get a good price in the memo.
