Thiruvananthapuram: Four more cases of Covid-19 Omicron variants have been reported in Kerala, taking the total number of cases in the state to five.
Health Minister Veena George said two new cases were wives and mothers from the original Ernakulam who were the first people to test the positive variants in the state.
He has returned from England.
From the remaining cases, someone was a 35-year-old man from Ernakulam who returned from Congo and a 22-year-old woman in Thiruvananthapuram who returned from England.
The minister said all contacts from these people have been identified and isolated.
The condition of four people was stable and they underwent treatment in various hospitals, he added.
