Udupi: Four people died and five others suffered injuries after a truck fell into the way in Ghat Agge under the boundary of the Hebri police station from the Udupi District on Friday.
The preliminary report showed that the incident was reported on the fifth curve (from the Someshwara side) Agumke Ghat.
The deceased was studied to become a resident of Karkala.
The accident was reported to take place in the afternoon when the truck returned empty from Shivamogga.
The sources told me that as soon as the truck reached near the Fifth Cross Jalan Ghat, the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle.
Fana remains have shifted to a government hospital in Hebri.
