Rajkot: The four workers were hit by a horde as they disposed of kitchen waste in the Kulabnagar Rajkot area on Wednesday night.
Police said that they had arrested four out of five accused of attacking workers.
They added that the condition of one of the victims was very important.
According to the police, Pradhyuman Chauhan (23), a resident of Gulabnagar in Kotharia Road, filed a complaint to loot and tried the murder of Rahul Koli, two unknown brothers for the attack.
The defendant had attacked Pradhyuman, Pradeep Yadav, Sunil Chauhan and Yashvant Chauhan, all the natives of Ghazipur at Uttar Pradesh.
They work as laborers in various rajkot industrial units.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night when Pradhyuman and other victims went to dispose of the kitchen waste in the plot open outside their home.
The fifth was accused of hiding in the bush, attacking them and asked them to hand over their cellphones and other valuables.
When the victims refused, the defendant struggled them and stole their cellphones.
One attacker stabbed Pradeep in the stomach.
Based on compliance, the police detained four accused and questioned them.
