Paris: France celebrated her national holiday Wednesday with thousands of troops marching in Paris Paris, fighter aircraft roaring overhead and traditional parties throughout the country, after last year’s incident was reduced back due to fear of the virus.
This year the fear was still hiding, but the government decided to continue the parade in the Champs-Elysees, as part of a wider effort to return to pre-pandemic activities.
The number of spectators is limited, and they are limited to a small part of the parade.
In addition, everyone present must show a special pass that proves that they have been fully vaccinated, recently recovered from viruses or negative virus tests.
Similar restrictions will be there for those who gather to watch complicated fireworks in the Eiffel Tower on Wednesday night.
The audience gathered in Paris from around France, happy to be able to see the show directly even if it was frustrated with limits and a long line for viral security checks.
“I came especially for my child lined up today,” said Gaelle Henry from North Lille City.
“Glad to be able to come out a little and finally get fresh air and think that everyone is here, and that we will return to normal a little.” Masks are everywhere among smaller crowds than usual along the road, and de rigueur for officials watching performances under the red-white-and blue tents that mimic the French flag.

Several cheers rose as President Emmanuel Macron Rode on military reconnaissance vehicles along the Champs-Elysees, past restaurants, luxury boutiques and cinemas covered by most pandemics.

This year’s event organizer was nicknamed “Bastille Day which was optimistic” aimed at “winning the future” and “celebrating France standing together behind tricolor (flag) to emerge from a pandemic.” While the optimism was spacious in France a few weeks ago, the cloud had returned to the national mood as a Delta variant triggered a new infection and encouraged Macron to announce the new vaccine rule this week.
Leading the parade is an extremist member of the French European style battle in Mali and the surrounding Sahel region.
Macron announced last week that France attracted at least 2,000 troops from the region because of a growing threat, and focused more effort on the power of Multi-National Takuba instead.
Among other things, respected in the parade were military medical officers who had claimed vaccines into French foreign regions, treated virus patients or helped fight a pandemic.
A total of 73 fighter aircraft, medical helicopters, and other aircraft crossed the sky in the Paris region.
“The moment of hospitality, reunion, at our national night, is the first and especially for us the opportunity to deal with our brothers and sisters in their arms and their families, and give them a thank you message,” said Macron for the French military on Tuesday.
Last year’s parade was canceled and replaced by a static ceremony that respected health care workers who died against Covid-19.
France has lost more than 111,000 lives for pandemic, and the government pushes hard to get more people being vaccinated against back infections that are driven by the Delta variant.
