Paris: France will relax the rules of Covid isolation from Monday, the government announced, in an effort to reduce its impact on society and the economy.
People who are fully vaccinated whose positive tests only need to isolate for seven days regardless of the variant they are infected, but can leave quarantine after five days if they show antigens or negative PCR tests.
There will be no quarantine for fully inspired people who have a positive close contact test.
However, people must respect the protection measures and “undergo regular testing”, said the health minister of Olivier Veran.
Until now, those who were tested positively had to isolate for 10 days with their close contracts were also quarantined for a week.
F Rance also places the US at the Covid Travel “Red List”, which means people who are not vaccinated who come to the country must be quarantined for 10 days.
