PARIS: A Frenchman accused of touching the kidnapping of a young woman came in his home state Wednesday to face charges after his expulsion from Malaysiain June.
France had murdered an Interpol arrest notice Remy Daillet-Wiedemann, that had been arrested on immigration charges from Malaysia after living for many years from the Southeast Asian nation.
His return had been delayed by two days in transit from Singapore over worries about his pregnant spouse’s health.
Prosecutors accuse Daillet-Wiedemann of helping arrange the mid-April abduction of a 8-year-old woman in southern France on behalf of her own mom, who’d lost custody of their kid.
The woman and mom were discovered in Switzerland a couple of days after.
His attorney, Jean-Christophe Basson-Larbi, stated Daillet-Wiedemann, his spouse, and three kids had been forced from their resort in Singapore and on a commercial flight which landed Wednesday afternoon in Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport.
Daillet-Wiedemann was transferred promptly to the town of Nancy, in southern France,” prosecutors said.
Basson-Larbi has explained the allegations against his client because purely political.
A few of the individuals accused of coordinating the kidnapping consider that French child protective services are a part of some government cabal of Satanist pedophiles and mentioned Daillet-Wiedemann since the essential inspiration to their own plan to return the woman and her mommy.
In a movie shortly after the kid was found, Daillet-Wiedemann commended the abduction but failed to mention some direct participation.
