Paris: Stephane Claireaux French politician, who is a member of President Emmanuel Macron ruling in LA Republique Enche Party, said on Monday that he had been attacked over the weekend by protesters who demonstrated health pass Covid France.
Attacks on Claireaux, which occurred on Sunday, came amid a public outcry in France after macron said he wanted to “peed” people who are not vaccinated by making their lives so complicated, they will eventually get the vaccine Covid.
Claireaux is a member of Parliament for the election of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, a French overseas territory in the Atlantic Ocean northwest, close to the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
“I certainly would launch a legal complaint.
Some people think the right decision was not made.
We have all received death threats by mail, at some point this must stop,” said Claireaux told France Info on Monday.
French foreign minister Annick Girardin condemned the attack in Claireaux.
Girardin Twitter account posted a picture of the incident, which showed protesters throwing mud at Claireaux when he stands outside his home.
“The attacks on Stephane Claireaux outside his own home during a demonstration against health pass completely unacceptable.
The pictures are very surprising,” said Girardin.
