New Delhi: A man and his friend was stabbed by five people at Samaypur Badli Delhi for the disputes of money, police said on Thursday.
Two people have been arrested from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh in this matter, he said.
The victims have been identified as Puneet Sharma and Rupinder Dahiya.
According to the Medico-legal report obtained by the police, Sharma received three injuries and dahiya two.
According to the police, Dahiya has lent a total of Rs 22,000 to one Gaurav Tyagi from the Prahladpur village known to Sharma.
In accordance with their pact, Tyagi should return the number in the first week of October, but when it was the time to stop receiving Dahiya’s call.
The incident occurred on Monday when Dahiya demanded the money back once more.
After the argument was heated by telephone, Tyagi asked Dahiya to come to his house to raise money.
Dahiya, accompanied by Sharma, went to Tyagi’s house in Badli, and when both of them were on the stairs they were attacked by a knife by five people, who fled after injuring them, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North North) Brijendra Kumar Yadav).
Four other attackers were identified as Arvind, Ankit, safe Tripathi and Ankesh, all Tyagi friends, police said.
On the basis of Dahiya’s statement, the case below Section 307 (effort for murder) and 34 (general intentions) from the Indian criminal code was registered at the Samaypur Badli police station, police said.
During his investigation, the police examined the CCTV cameras area and through supervision knowing that the two defendants had fled to Mathura.
A police team went to Mathura and Nabbed Vivekanand aka safe (20), a resident of Swaroop Nagar, and Ankesh (20), a resident of Badli Village, DCP said.
The defendant acknowledged their involvement in the incident and also from all three of their escape colleagues, police said.
Action to actively arrest them too, he said.
