Greater Noida: Four members of the car lifting gang between countries were arrested on Wednesday night.
The police said, the gang worked in an organized way and used a crane to attract stolen vehicles to save themselves from police checks.
According to the police, the defendant has been identified as Yasin Khan, Nazrul Hasan, Hardeep Singh Oberoi and Lal Bahadur.
“We have received information about the movements of several criminals in the car, after the trap placed near the Alpha commercial belt in Greater Noida.
Santro Hyundai was stopped by checking,” said Amit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Greater Noida.
He added that Khan and Hasan were in the car and they failed to produce valid documents.
“During the examination, the state-made gun along with two cartridges was directly found from their ownership.

The police then arrested Bahadur and a crane recovered from his ownership.
He added that the mastermind gang had been identified as a chokey dushyant.
“Gang has stolen more than 50 cars in the past year.
