Mysuru: The four-member gunmen gang, who looted a jewelry store and killed a young man last week in the city, had targeted several more stores here and had planned crimes since a month.
Gang members arrived at Mysuru a few weeks ago and did juggle the area around the jewelry store in the city they were registered to loot including those in Vidyaranyapuram where they succeeded, but were arrested, the police stated.
Gangs and conspirators have identified around 4-5 stores located far from the business center area and have featured maximum jewelry at the exhibition.
Before the incident on August 23, the gang made a futile effort in another store where the owner insisted that they left footwear outside the store, which caused the argument between them, the police added.
The police have not arrested one of the perpetrators.
A man was seen in the recording along the shutter before committing a violation was still runaway.
An officer said the business competition was thought to be a motive behind the crime.

“How they work together and group people from different countries are being investigated.
So far, eight were ordered in this case and from them seven in police custody,” the officer added.

The defendant, who shot a young man, killed him in place, was arrested from West Bengal, but his weapon was recovered from accused of others in Mumbai.
“After the crime, he handed the gun to another charge and he hid the weapon on the channel near his house in Mumbai.
This is a country made a gun,” said a police officer.
