New Delhi: A 27-year-old woman who took a automatic rickshaw, allegedly taken to another place and was raped by four men near the Ito area of the national capital, and an accused of being arrested, police said on Monday.
In his complaint, the woman, a resident of Sambhal Uttar Pradesh, stated that he rode a vehicle from the Khajuri region of Nortever Delhi for the Kashmere gate on Saturday.
But in the middle, he was taken to an isolated room where he was raped by automatic rickshaw drivers and three others and then fell at the Kashmere gate.
The source said that doctors medically examined the victims.
The police, meanwhile, have arrested the driver of the automatic rickshaw who recognized his crime.
The police have registered firs against 4 people accused of including automatic rickshaw drivers at the IP Estate Police Station.
The search is happening to capture three other accused.
