Nashik: A 40-year-old married woman allegedly raped by four people in Vani Kalwan Taluka Village in Nashik district, police said.
Police Vani said the woman, who had been to a medical store to buy several drugs at 11pm on Wednesday night, met an acquaintance near the stand in Vani.
While both of them spoke, four men approached them and forcibly dragged the woman to a dark place near the bus stop.
They rated the woman and beat the man he was talking to.
However, the man managed to run to the police station and reminded the police.
A team of police officials rushed to the location while several other teams were sent to various regions to look for violators.
According to the police, they found two-wheeled unattended a bit far from the place.
The police decided to keep an eye on the same thing.
After an hour, a man returned to the place to get a vehicle and the police arrested him.
Initially, he refused to work together but eventually spilled beans.
Three lapars were then arrested.
All of them were served in front of a local court that prevented them in police custody until 1.
November said that all four of the men involved in the incident had been captured and cases under 376 IPC had been ordered.
