Patna: Someone was arrested in connection with Gangrape and the murder of a female train employee from the District Suggestion Bihar, an official said on Sunday.
The defendant was identified as Dhiraj Kumar.
He has a prohibited relationship with the victim named Sunaina Devi (30).
The victim lived in the train colony in the city of Sonpur and he got a job after his husband’s death on a loving land.
The police said that the defendant had taken the victim’s car and also took his salary every month.
“According to his confession, the defendant invited his three friends in the victim’s flat.
They consumed liquor followed by Gangrape Sunain in the second week of September this year.
Sunain became angry with Driraj because his friends attacked him sexually without him.
He demanded money and cars from Dhiraj and also threatened to complain to him to the police about the Gangrape incident, “said Anjani Kumar, additional SP from the district suggestion.
“When Dhiraj was under extraordinary pressure, he hatched the conspiracy to kill him.
As planned, he went to Varanasi on September 18 and his three friends went to Sunaina flat and allegedly strangled him to death,” ASP said.
“During the investigation, the police scanned the details of the victim’s call and found several calls to be done to Dhiraj.
He focused on the investigation.
When the police strictly asked him, he broke down and revealed all conspiracies of Gangrape murder,” the officer said.
“We have identified three other accused.
They will soon be placed behind bars,” he said.
