MySuru: The short electric circuit caused a fire accident at a ready-made clothing store near the Kuvempunagar complex on Tuesday morning.
The fire destroys clothes and other valuables.
Saraswathipuram firefighters said they received a call of around 5.45 in the morning.
The extinguisher engine rushes to the place and it takes about an hour to extinguish the fire completely.
There was no injury because the incident occurred when the store was closed, they said.
