Jaipur: Chairman of the Minister of Ashok Gehlot on Thursday announced a 3 percent increase in unfortunately (DA) and AD-hoc bonuses for the state government employees in front of Diwali.
This decision was taken after the center approved a 3 percent increase in DA and DEVERERS RELIEF (DR) for central and retired employees.
“The minister’s chairman has agreed to a 3% increase in DA for employees of the State Government and departure assistance (DR) paid to retirees in the path of the Central Government employees.
Now, DA and DR will be paid to state employees and retirees at 31% of July 1 2021.
Previously, the DA level was 28% for civil servants and retirees, “read official statements.
About 8 Lakh employees, who draw a salary based on Rajasthan Civil Rules (salary revisions) -2017, and 4.40 lakh retirees will benefit from this decision.
Apart from state employees, Panchayat Samitis employees and Zila Parishads will also benefit from this decision.
The increasing number of DA – Starting July 1 to September 30 – will be stored in their general giving fund accounts.
This will be paid in cash in October salary.
The state government will bear the financial burden of nearly Rs 1,230 Crore every year for an increase.
Likewise, Gehlot also has agreed to the Diwali Ad-hoc bonus for around 6 lakh employees in the state.
This benefit will be given to state employees drawing paying in the Pay Level-12 matrix or the Pay-4800 value and below.
State service officers (exchanged) will not benefit from this.
Bonuses will also be paid to Panchayat Samiti, Zila Parishad and employees charged.
The Ad-hoc bonus will be calculated for 2020-21 based on the emergency maximum RS 7,000 and a month 31 days.
This will be paid for a period of 30 days.
In this way, every employee will get a maximum ad-hoc bonus of Rs 6,774.
This time, 50 percent of the bonus amount will be paid in cash and the remaining 50 percent will be stored on their general provident fund account.
The state government will bear the additional financial burden of Rs 500 Crore on this matter.
