BERLIN: German federal prosecutors said on Monday they had detained a Russian scientist accused of passing sensitive data by a German college to Moscow in exchange for money.
They stated in a statement that the defendant, identified simply as Ilnur N., was taken in custody Friday on suspicion of”searching to get a Russian spy because ancient October 2020 at the latest”.
