Ghaziabad: A 30-year-old man allegedly shot dead by four attackers transmitted through a bicycle in Loni on Monday morning.
The police said Vikas Kumar, a financing company employee, was on his way to the office with a wheel vehicle and his fourth was accused of two bikes to go near his office in the DLF area and shoot him indiscriminately.
“Five of the 10 bullets hit him,” said a police officer.
Kumar who was seriously injured rushed to a local hospital by people who passed, where the doctor said he died on arrival.
“The defendant is a sports mask and helmet,” he said.
Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay, Circle Officer Loni, said the defendant took less than a minute to pump bullets to Kumar and accelerate.
“FIR for murder has been registered against an unknown person under the IPC part 302.
We checked the recording of the CCTV camera installed in the area.” Between January 1 to December 15 this year, 22 people were killed in Loni.
That number is 10 of 2020.
